Schnauzer and Labrador News 2024

3/8/2024. The Birth of my Schnauzer Puppies

Afternoon Births.

Lolitta. ( Achnacarry Sams Girl) was successfully mated with Baxter ( Miccosukees Ice King at Ilashi) and in the afternoon of 3rd August produced 6 puppies. 4 x girls. 2 x boys.  Sadly we lost a little girl but all 5 survived and did very well.  Lolitt has been an excellent mother...caring and loving towards her puppies.  They are now 10 weeks old and 3 left for their forever homes on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th October.
i have retained two girls.....both very different.
Annie is the smallest but pretty and a very bold personality.
Rosie is chunkier and heavier and perhaps a little shy but very good at barking!

28th May 2024. NEWS UPDATE

SKC May and October shows.

Image: Our winnings.

On 16th May I took Lolitta and Sam over to Ingliston to the Championship dog show.
it was a long day but we had a good time with Helen my friend helping and keeping us sane.  It's always great to catch up with friends north and south of the border.
In the May show Lolitta was 2nd in the Open class.  Sam srood alone in Veteran class but at least we supported the class.
Thanks to our judge Mrs K Carroll

In the October show we had a good show only with Lolitta as no CC sadly on offer.  Lolitta won her class then went on to be awarded Best Of Sex then went on to be awarded Best of Breed.

Thanks to,our judge for that. Mrs L Wilson.

Updates from 2023!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I haven't been very good at updating my website in 2023!
So...... In June I became the proud owner of a black Labrador puppy whom I called Emma after HM The Queens Fell pony.
I wasn't actively looking for another Labrador but since meeting Tim there has always been a black Labrador in our family.  Emma had been booked by someone then for some reason she became available again and the rest is history!  She has settled in very well and although the Schnauzers are in charge she is finding her place in the pack!  She is now 9 months and for the last couple of months we have been going to Gundog for fun classes.  Fair to say she has improved since day 1!
She just needs to get over speaking to all the other dogs!
