Achnacarry Highland Ponies Stud was established in 1977 with the purchase of Ella of Whitefield followed in 1980 by Julie of Lundie. Most of the ponies on the stud are related to these foundation mares.

The above pony, Selkie Bheag of Achnacarry goes back to these two mares.

The stud has enjoyed various Championships throughout the years at various shows and have won every trophy at the Royal Highland Show except the Female Championship and mare and foal trophy.
We have had trophies for 1,2 and 3 year old fillies and have won Reserve Female on two occasions.
We have also had the Gelding trophy and Male Championship trophy and Reserve Overall trophy.

All our Youngstock are bred from Champions and have been placed every time shown.

Achnacarry Standard Schnauzers was established in 2002 with the purchase of Odivane Sultry Sally at Achnacarry (Tiffany) from Mrs Mary Moore.
We had previously owned Odivane Rising Son (Mac) born 1990 and when he died we returned to the same kennel for Tiffany. We had some success showing her so decided to continue and also to have a litter of puppies. Sasha (above) was one of these puppies and we now own 5 Schnauzers and 1 Labrador!
